Financial Business Analyst

Job description

  • Review, maintain, and suggest modifications as appropriate, to the current procedures and processes
  • Maintain and continuously improve financial control mechanisms to minimize financial risk including managing and developing the management information systems 
  • Maintain business relationships to major vendors and banks / financial institutions including preparing and supporting negotiations
  • Pro-actively and continuously seek to improve the organizational efficiency by implementing growth and cost reduction opportunities to maximize cash flow and profitability Independently see the need for and prepare ad hoc financial analyses, carry out business modelling and risk assessments

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, reporting, financial planning and project management or quantitative role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of experience and instruction
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries, creating Tableau reports, and ETL
  • High level of proficiency in Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query)
  • Strong controller-ship focus
  • Ability to manage projects with multiple teams
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Creative and proactive problem solver
  • Experience in either Consulting, Software Implementation, Accounting or Finance
