Fashion Category Manager

Job description

  • Monitor, control and improve sales KPIs on a regular basis
  • Stock management: ensure optimal stock levels in accordance to business targets
  • Participate in promotional activities for brand portfolio, manage activations with cross-functional departments
  • Market and competitors monitoring and action plan
  • Manage buying team of 4 members:
  1.           Drive the team towards reaching the goal 
  2.           Train and develop talents inside of the team
  3.           Support the team with data, tools and reports
  4.           Organize workflow to enhance the team productivity, control quality and timing of task performance
  • Liaise with other departments within the organization to ensure projects are completed
  • Work closely with Management on enhancement projects and tasks
  • Prepare presentations on demand
  • Take lead in initiatives to ensure KPIs reach for the respective category and Fashion Vertical


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business (Commerce, Trading …), or a closely related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Purchasing & Commercial
  • Experience in team management
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; flexible to accommodate demanding project schedules
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Structured worker, focused on details, quality and result
  • Proactive, passionate, with strong ability to run extra mile to reach business targets
