Warehouse Planning Specialist

Job description

  • Interpret data on fulfillment center activities such as warehouse management, inventory management, order fulfillment, capacity management, order forecasting, work study and time measurement, operational planning or performance management.
  • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as fulfillment costs, back orders, or operation times.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on fulfillment center performance measures, KPIs, operational planning and etc.
  • Monitor KPIs and Key results time to time and feedback to engineering manager
  • Confer with engineering manager to determine ways to optimize processes, maximize fulfillment capacity, minimize fulfillment cost or maintain fulfillment efficiency.
  • Identify complex problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Participate in operational and strategical planning and monitor objectives and key results to ensure all operational teams can touch their goals.
  • Develop and maintain systems for data gathering to use in planning and controlling activities.
  • Standardize and improve business process and reduce wastes by TQM techniques
  • Analyze and optimize productivity by work measurement techniques, OR models or simulation techniques and cooperate by other fulfillment supervisors to implement them.

Requirements

    • Minimum bachelor of Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Graduate from high ranked university is an advantage.
    • Advance in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Familiar with WMS and ERP (Having experience with WMS or ERP is an advantage)
    • Knowing a discrete event simulation software is an advantage.
    • Familiar with
    • Upper-Intermediate in English
    • Good in researching and developing new methods
    • Good in presentation and communication (written and verbal)
    • Able to work under uncertainly and stressful situations
    • Working in high working hours
    • 2+ years of experience in SCM, logistics, warehouse, or production engineering fields.
    • Having experience in manufacturing or retail industry is an advantage.
